Lieutenant General Mahmoud Tawfik, the Minister of Interior, stated that he places great importance on strengthening cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and the United Nations. This includes sending distinguished officers and female police personnel to participate in international peacekeeping missions. He also mentioned that the Ministry of Interior is keen to ensure that these personnel are trained to the highest standards at the Egyptian Peacekeeping Training Center, to refine their skills and equip them with the necessary experience to perform their duties efficiently.


Egypt is one of the leading countries contributing to United Nations peacekeeping missions, and this cooperation is part of Egypt's prominent regional and international role in maintaining stability and building peace in conflict zones worldwide. The United Nations has expressed its great appreciation for these contributions, which reflect Egypt's unwavering commitment to supporting international peace and security.
