The Ministry of Awqaf continues its intensive efforts to prepare for the upcoming Eid al-Adha by setting up more than 6,000 prayer grounds alongside major mosques across various governorates. This comprehensive plan aims to ensure smooth organization and create a spiritual atmosphere suitable for performing the rituals. The preparations focus on providing fully equipped prayer areas while emphasizing strict adherence to health and religious regulations governing the prayers.

The arrangements include carefully distributing the prayer grounds, ensuring easy entry and exit, providing appropriate spaces for women, and adjusting sound systems to guarantee the Eid sermon is clearly heard by all attendees. Coordination with relevant authorities was also made to allocate sufficient parking spaces and manage traffic flow, aiming to prevent congestion or disruption in the surrounding areas.

As part of the Ministry’s intellectual plan, a team of imams and preachers has been assigned to directly oversee the prayer grounds and deliver Eid sermons that highlight the promotion of noble Islamic values such as kindness, tolerance, avoidance of ostentation, and the importance of following precautionary measures. The ministry also urged worshippers to observe proper Eid prayer etiquette, including arriving early, managing children responsibly, and avoiding overcrowding to maintain a calm and humble prayer environment filled with serenity.
