🚨 The “Shabu War”... The State’s Battle Against the Merchants of Death

State security forces continue their large-scale campaigns against drug lords and dealers, as part of a comprehensive plan to dismantle criminal networks and cut off the sources of “shabu”—one of the most dangerous narcotics, notorious for its devastating effects on the nervous system and mental health.

In recent days, security operations have raided multiple hideouts across several governorates, seizing large quantities of shabu along with unlicensed firearms, ammunition, and large sums of money representing the proceeds of drug trafficking. Several high-risk criminals involved in importing and distributing the drug were also arrested and referred to the Public Prosecution for further investigation.

Anti-narcotics experts stress that shabu is among the most destructive drugs in circulation, as it destroys the nervous system and cognitive abilities, while also being directly linked to higher rates of crime and violence due to its severe impact on behavior.

The state has reaffirmed that this war against the “merchants of death” will not cease, describing it as a battle for awareness and survival aimed at saving young people from addiction and protecting society from collapse.
