The Al-Azhar secondary school exams for the current academic year will begin tomorrow, Thursday, starting with the scientific section students taking the Quran and Hadith exams. The exams are supervised by Dr. Mohamed Al-Duwaini, Deputy of Al-Azhar, and Sheikh Ayman Abdel Ghani, Head of the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector.
This year, 173,808 male and female students from across the country will participate, distributed across 577 examination committees equipped with the latest comfort and facilities to ensure a suitable environment for taking the exams.
The scientific section exams will continue until Wednesday, July 9, while the literary section students will complete their exams by Thursday, July 10. The exam schedules are organized to ensure maximum fairness and equality among all students.
Al-Azhar is committed to continuously developing the examination system by adopting diverse and comprehensive questions that assess understanding, analysis, and comprehension skills, moving away from traditional methods based solely on memorization.
Sheikh Ayman Abdel Ghani confirmed that the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector is working to create a calm and comfortable atmosphere inside the exam halls, providing all necessary support and facilitation for students to ensure the best possible results.
Abdel Ghani urged all students to be confident and serious during the exams, stressing that diligence and discipline are the only paths to success, and wishing them continued success and excellence in their academic journey.
