A tragic accident occurred this morning on Al-Saff Road in Giza Governorate, when a speeding microbus overturned, resulting in the death of a passenger and injuries to the driver. The horrifying scene prompted an immediate response from the relevant authorities.

The Giza Security Directorate's emergency operations room received a report of a microbus overturning on Al-Saff Road. A police force quickly moved to the scene, accompanied by ambulances, to investigate the incident and examine its circumstances.

Preliminary inspections and investigations conducted by security personnel indicated that the accident was caused by the driver losing control of the steering wheel, which led to the sudden overturn of the vehicle at the side of the road. The driver sustained multiple bruises, abrasions, and fractures, while the other passenger—believed to be a worker in his forties—died instantly due to his severe injuries.
The injured driver was transported to the nearest hospital for necessary medical care, while the deceased was transferred to the morgue under the supervision of the public prosecution. The prosecution has launched an investigation and ordered an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death, prior to issuing a burial permit. Further investigations into the circumstances of the accident have also been requested.
