The Egyptian Meteorological Authority has announced the weather forecast for Sunday, indicating the continued impact of a hot and humid air mass over most parts of the country. The weather will be hot and humid during the day across the majority of areas and mildly hot at night, especially during the late-night hours and early morning, with a noticeable increase in humidity levels.

The authority stated that dense morning fog will form from 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM in various areas from northern Egypt to northern Upper Egypt. The fog may be particularly thick on roads leading to and from the northeastern coast, Canal Cities, and Central Sinai, significantly affecting horizontal visibility, especially for drivers.

Additionally, active winds are expected in some coastal areas, particularly along the shores of Salloum, Matrouh, Alexandria, and Kafr El-Sheikh, with wind speeds ranging between 30 and 45 km/h. The Mediterranean Sea will experience wave heights between 1.5 and 2.25 meters, potentially impacting marine activities.
In parallel, the authority issued a marine warning for the Gulf of Suez, where wind activity may reach 50 km/h and wave heights could range between 1.5 and 2.25 meters, urging caution during navigation or while conducting any marine activities.

The authority confirmed that these weather conditions are expected to persist in the coming days, advising citizens to avoid direct sun exposure during peak hours, stay well hydrated, and follow traffic instructions during early morning fog formation.
