Hadayek Al-Ahram in Giza Governorate experienced a sudden water outage on Monday morning due to a major break in the main water pipeline near Gate 1 on the main Wahat Road.

The rupture caused a large amount of water leakage, resulting in water service being cut off to several residential areas and sparking concern among residents due to the prolonged outage.

The Al-Haram District authorities responded promptly by deploying heavy equipment and water suction trucks. Maintenance teams began repair operations in coordination with the Drinking Water and Wastewater Company.

Engineer Taha Abdel Sadeq, Head of Al-Haram District, along with his deputy Engineer Mohamed Abdel Azim and security forces, visited the site to monitor the repair efforts in person and ensure a swift resolution to the emergency.

District officials confirmed that repair work is ongoing and that water supply will gradually be restored once the damage is fully addressed. In the meantime, potable water trucks have been dispatched to serve affected residents.

Al-Haram District has urged residents of Hadayek Al-Ahram to conserve water during the repair period and assured that all relevant authorities are working at full capacity to restore normal conditions as quickly as possible.
