كشف الفريق كامل الوزير، نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء للتنمية الصناعية ووزير الصناعة والنقل، أنه جاري العمل حاليًا على تقنين أوضاع 34 مصنع حديد غير مرخص، ولا يراعي المواصفات المطلوبة. جاء ذلك خلال جلسة "الاستثمار في الصناعة.. فرص التكامل والنمو" في فعاليات الملتقى والمعرض الدولي السنوي للصناعة IMCE في دورته الثالثة، الذي نظمه اتحاد الصناعات، بحضور الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي، رئيس مجلس الوزراء، ووزراء الكهرباء، الإسكان، التموين، والتعليم العالي.
وأوضح الوزير أن هذا الإجراء يأتي في إطار استراتيجية وزارة الصناعة لتقنين أوضاع المصانع الصغيرة وإدخالها في المنظومة الصناعية الرسمية.
وأكد كامل الوزير أن الحكومة لن تمنع الاستيراد، ولكن ستعمل على الحد منه، وذلك بهدف إفساح المجال أمام الصناعة الوطنية. كما أشار إلى أن الحكومة تسعى لتحويل مصر إلى مركز إقليمي للصناعة، من خلال خلق بدائل محلية ذات قيمة مضافة وطنية، وتعزيز التعاون بين المصنعين.
وأشار الوزير إلى أن الدولة تعمل على حل مشكلات المصانع في جميع محافظات مصر، وفي الوقت ذاته، تقوم برفع كفاءة التعليم الفني لزيادة الكفاءات الإنتاجية وتحسين جودتها.
