Study: Moderate Coffee Consumption May Slow Aging Effects
A recent study revealed that drinking up to 4 cups of coffee daily may reduce biological signs of aging, while consuming more than 5 cups could have the opposite effect.
A recent study found that moderate coffee consumption may provide a biological advantage, showing that individuals who drink up to 4 cups a day have cells that appear approximately five years younger than those who avoid coffee.
The research focused on individuals with severe mental disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and psychosis, revealing that coffee intake is linked to longer telomeres, cellular structures associated with aging. However, consuming more than 5 cups daily did not yield additional benefits and may accelerate biological aging due to cellular stress from excessive caffeine.
Global health organizations recommend limiting caffeine intake to around 400 mg daily, equivalent to roughly 4 cups of coffee, to ensure protective effects without overloading the body.
Regular health screening is one of the most important steps to maintain good health and detect diseases early. The essential medical checkups for every age help in preventing complications and ensuring a healthier life.
Many people, after doing medical tests, receive their results and immediately start looking at numbers and unfamiliar terms like (High – Low – Normal) without fully understanding what they actually mean.
When dealing with medical services, many people come across different titles for doctors such as “Specialist” and “Consultant”, which can sometimes create confusion about what each title actually means and how they differ from each other.
Choosing the right time to visit a doctor is not a random decision. It can directly affect how quickly a condition is diagnosed and how effective the treatment will be. Many people delay visiting a doctor or go at the wrong time, which may lead to worsening symptoms or delayed care.
