The Public Prosecution has referred 31 suspects to the misdemeanor court in connection with cases involving children at Seeds Language School and Alexandria International Language School being put at risk. Copies of the documents were sent to the Office for the Protection of Children, Persons with Disabilities, and the Elderly to ensure appropriate safety measures are implemented.
Investigations revealed serious negligence by supervisors and security staff, as children were left unattended in schoolyards and bus waiting areas, with school managers failing to monitor the performance of supervisors, security personnel, and camera operators. This negligence allowed perpetrators to take advantage and endangered the children.
The prosecution based its case on CCTV recordings, statements from Ministry of Education officials, and a report from the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood regarding the children’s conditions, establishing that the children were exposed to neglect, harm, and potential exploitation.
