In a separate security development, authorities successfully uncovered the circumstances behind a widely circulated video on social media. The footage showed two private cars chasing a pickup truck loaded with tomatoes, leading to part of the cargo falling onto the road during the pursuit.
Investigations led to identifying and arresting the drivers involved—three individuals residing in Abu Suwir. It was revealed that the incident stemmed from prior disputes that had escalated into a physical altercation. The confrontation reignited when they encountered each other on the road, prompting the chase.
The suspects later stated that they reconciled and settled their dispute amicably, without filing official reports. Authorities, however, seized the vehicles and took necessary legal actions.
