A tragic scene unfolded in the Kaabish area, where a student sustained severe injuries after being attacked while trying to defend his friend during an altercation that suddenly turned violent.
According to local witnesses, the student was returning home from a private lesson when he saw one of his classmates being harassed by another individual. Acting out of loyalty, he stepped in to protect his friend, but the assailant assaulted him with a sharp object, inflicting multiple wounds across his body.
The injured student was rushed to the hospital in critical condition for treatment, while his family filed an official police report demanding the arrest and prosecution of the attacker.
Speaking in grief, Ibrahim’s mother recalled the shocking moments:
“We raised our children on good manners and never taught them violence. On that day, he had a sports lesson and was supposed to return early, but he came home at 8 p.m. screaming ‘Help me, Mom!’ I couldn’t do anything but rush him to the hospital.”
She added that her son suffered multiple stab wounds despite having no prior disputes with anyone, describing the attack as a “cowardly betrayal” that devastated the entire family.
Security forces are currently working to identify and apprehend the suspect, as anger and sadness spread among residents of Kaabish, calling for stronger measures to protect students from such violent acts.
