Cairo Governorate clarified the reasons behind the temporary seizure of Al-Muneera Primary Language School under Sayeda Zeinab Education Directorate, emphasizing that the decision was made within a legal framework to maintain the regular school schedule and prevent disruption of the educational process.
The governorate stated that the school is privately owned and managed by the Ministry of Education, and the temporary seizure was necessary until property expropriation procedures are completed in accordance with the law, with all necessary measures taken to compensate the owners, ensuring public interest and stability for students and staff.
The governorate stressed that the main goal is to protect students’ future and maintain regular school activities, and any misinformation or alternative interpretations are entirely incorrect. Media outlets and social media users are urged to verify information with the competent authorities before publishing, to safeguard public interest and prevent confusion among parents and students.
