The Public Prosecution has revealed new details in case number 13218 Misdemeanors of Kerdasa, known in media as the “Indecent Act on the Axis Road” case, which stirred widespread controversy after a viral video showed two men and three women inside a private car engaging in indecent acts in public.

Investigations confirmed that the incident took place within Sheikh Zayed district, under the jurisdiction of Kerdasa Police, where the video captured the group’s actions before things escalated into a physical altercation with the person filming them.

During questioning, the defendant “S.M.” said:
“We were coming from a night out at a nightclub in Agouza called Al-Dhahabiya. We were in the car of the accused (A.A.), heading to Dahshur to hang out. One of the girls sat next to him and hugged him while me and my friend were in the back seat.”

She added that a passerby began filming them from his car, which angered the driver, leading to a fight and verbal altercation, until bystanders intervened and stopped the dispute.

She continued:
“Later that night, at around 3 a.m. on March 10, the police came to my house and took me in for questioning, and I’ve been under investigation since then.”

Investigations further revealed that the group had gone to Dahshur after finishing their night out in Agouza, and the fight with the man who recorded the video broke out after he objected to their behavior on the public road.

The Public Prosecution continues to investigate the case to determine the full circumstances and legal accountability of all parties involved.
