The Ministry of Interior’s security services arrested a female content creator in Alexandria after monitoring her social media accounts, where she had posted videos of herself dancing in revealing clothing that violated public decency and moral standards.

Investigations by the General Administration for the Protection of Public Morals revealed that the suspect repeatedly shared indecent videos to attract followers and increase engagement in order to generate financial revenue.

After obtaining the necessary warrants, security forces arrested her in the First El Raml Police Department area of Alexandria. Two mobile phones were found in her possession, containing evidence confirming her involvement. When questioned, she admitted to deliberately posting the videos to increase viewership and profit financially. Legal measures were taken against her.

In a related case, authorities arrested a male content creator who had published indecent videos featuring himself and a relative, performing actions deemed offensive to public morals.

Investigations confirmed that the suspect resides in the El Sharabiya district of Cairo, while his cousin lives in Qanater El Khairia in Qalyubia. Both confessed to managing the account for the purpose of increasing views and earning money online.

Security forces continue their efforts to combat online offenses and content that contradicts public morality, aiming to preserve social values and ethical standards.
