Security authorities in Minya have arrested a content creator following the monitoring of videos she posted on social media platforms, which allegedly included inappropriate content and performative acts presented under the guise of household activities, in a manner deemed inconsistent with societal values.
The investigation was carried out by the General Administration for the Protection of Morality within the specialized police sector, which tracked the individual’s online activity before taking legal measures to apprehend her within the jurisdiction of Minya police.
According to reports, a mobile phone was seized during the arrest, and its examination revealed evidence supporting the nature of the content she had been producing and sharing online, aimed at attracting views and generating financial gain.
Upon questioning, the accused admitted to publishing the videos on her accounts, stating that her objective was to increase engagement and viewership, which motivated her to present such type of content.
Legal procedures have been initiated in connection with the case, as authorities continue to monitor online content and address violations that may conflict with laws or public values.
