Dancer Linda Denies Posting Controversial Videos, Reveals Details in Investigation
Dancer Linda Martino denied all allegations regarding the circulation of indecent videos on social media, stating that some clips are old and were recorded by others without her knowledge.
During the investigation, dancer Linda Martino clarified the allegations that she published content deemed indecent or promoting immoral behavior on social media, including videos showing her dancing or engaging in behavior against public morals.
Linda confirmed to authorities that she did not personally publish any of these videos. She explained that the clips were shared by individuals unrelated to her, and some were recorded during her performances. Some videos date back to the COVID-19 pandemic period, when she acted naturally without intending to offend societal norms.
She further clarified that one video was recorded three years ago in Lebanon at a hotel for promotional purposes, while another from the North Coast in 2018 was filmed without her knowledge, with a wardrobe mishap occurring unintentionally. A separate clip at Sheraton Hotel also involved a quick costume adjustment during a performance.
Linda added that another video, taken by someone else at a friend’s birthday party, circulated online without her involvement. She emphasized that she has never been implicated or convicted in similar cases before and reiterated her respect for the law and adherence to Egyptian customs and traditions.
