They further stated that they gave the victim a sedative before attacking her with a knife. They then allegedly placed her body inside a private car and transported it to the Gizaoui Canal.
According to the reported confessions, the suspects threw the body into the canal before fleeing the scene.

The case began when security authorities were notified that the body of a woman in her thirties had been found with a fatal neck injury and left in the Gizaoui Canal within the Ayat police jurisdiction.
A security investigation team was subsequently formed to uncover the circumstances of the incident and identify those responsible. Surveillance camera footage in the surrounding area was also examined.
Suspects Identified and Arrested
Investigations reportedly identified the three suspects as the victim’s 50-year-old unemployed father, her 26-year-old unemployed brother, who had previous criminal records, and her maternal uncle, who also had previous criminal records.
