Security authorities have revealed the details of a video circulated on social media, showing a fight between several individuals in Dakahlia Governorate.
Upon investigation, it was found that the incident occurred on the 22nd of this month, involving two parties from nearly the same extended family. The first party included a worker, his son, and his wife, two of whom sustained cut wounds and abrasions. The second party included the wife’s brother and two women, two of whom also suffered cut wounds and bruises.
The altercation took place in the jurisdiction of Mit Ghamr Police Station, resulting from disputes over the ownership of an apartment in their residence. The conflict escalated to a mutual assault using knives and wooden sticks, causing the aforementioned injuries.
Security authorities managed to apprehend both parties and confiscate the weapons used in the attack. When confronted, the individuals admitted to committing the incident as detailed in the investigation.
Legal procedures have been initiated regarding the case, and investigations are ongoing.
