Dokki Car Theft: Suspect Arrested After Leaving Key Inside
Giza police arrested a suspect who stole a woman’s car in Dokki after she left the keys inside, following detailed investigations and a well-planned ambush.
A woman in Dokki had her car stolen after leaving the keys inside while shopping for groceries at a nearby supermarket. The thief took advantage of the opportunity and drove away.
The Giza Security Directorate received the report and launched intensive investigations to identify the suspect and track his location. After monitoring his movements, authorities set up a precise ambush that led to his arrest. The suspect admitted the location of the car and returned it to the authorities.
A formal police report was filed, and the public prosecution is handling the case, investigating the suspect while all necessary legal procedures are being taken.
Authorities emphasized the importance of not leaving keys inside vehicles and noted that citizens’ cooperation with the police is crucial in swiftly apprehending criminals and recovering stolen property.
