A recurring domestic conflict in a Haram household escalated into tragedy when a woman fatally stabbed her husband during an argument about purchasing Ramadan supplies and household necessities.
The accused woman told investigators that she did not intend to kill her husband and that their disputes were daily. On the day of the incident, her request was refused, leading to a verbal altercation during which the husband attempted to attack her. She grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed him, causing immediate fatal injury.
The Public Prosecution ordered the woman held for four days pending investigation and assigned forensic experts to conduct an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death before permitting burial.
Initial investigations revealed that the victim was 30 years old, and the accused wife is 20. The verbal dispute escalated rapidly into physical violence that resulted in the husband’s death. The body was transferred to the morgue for further examination, and investigations are ongoing.
