Driver Arrested for Performing Dangerous Stunts During Wedding Convoy in Cairo
Egyptian police arrested a motorist after a viral video showed him performing dangerous driving stunts during a wedding convoy in Cairo, endangering lives on the road.
The Ministry of Interior has revealed the circumstances behind a viral video circulating on social media, showing a private car driver recklessly performing stunts on a highway in Cairo, endangering both his life and that of other road users.
After an investigation, authorities were able to identify and locate the vehicle and its driver, who resides in Helwan, Cairo. It was confirmed that the car’s license was valid.
When questioned, the driver confessed to performing the stunts while participating in a wedding convoy for one of his relatives. The vehicle was impounded, and legal action was taken against him.
In a separate incident, security forces investigated another video circulating online showing a driver insulting another person and making obscene gestures while driving in New Cairo.
Investigations revealed that the perpetrator was a student without a valid driving license. He admitted to the act, and the vehicle was seized pending legal procedures.
