An Egyptian court sentenced Boussy El-Assad to two years in prison with labor and imposed a fine of 100,000 EGP after being found guilty of posting content violating public morals on social media in the Al-Haram area.
Investigations revealed that the accused earned significant income from TikTok live streams and videos, using provocative content to attract followers, especially among young audiences. Some of the videos were recorded inside her home and stored on her personal device.
The court confirmed that the content included inappropriate material and that the accused had accepted financial offers from followers for private engagements, as stated during the investigation.
The verdict underscores Egypt’s strict stance against spreading immoral content and aims to protect society from material that violates public decency.
