Cairo authorities referred "M.F." to criminal trial after he was caught impersonating a doctor for nine years, running Cairo Care Hospital in Maadi without a license, and filming artists and patients inside examination rooms.
Investigations revealed that the accused, a dismissed student, forged a graduation certificate allegedly from Qasr Al-Aini Medical School and a medical ID card, allowing him to work in reputable medical institutions before establishing the hospital.
He used the hospital to film artists and patients without their consent. Some victims reported receiving excessive sedatives and being pressured into alcohol consumption, exploiting their psychological state.
Prosecutors continue examining seized equipment, identifying victims, and completing investigations regarding forgery, impersonation, and operating an unlicensed medical facility, in preparation for trial.
