Security forces continued their campaign against fraud and scams, successfully shutting down a fake educational institution in Nasr City, Cairo, run by a woman who misled citizens seeking study certificates. She claimed these certificates could secure employment in major companies in exchange for money.
During the raid, authorities seized blank certificates, enrollment forms, name plaques, and promotional materials. The suspect admitted to the fraudulent activity aimed at personal financial gain, and legal measures were taken accordingly.
Earlier, another individual running an unlicensed educational center in Fayoum was also arrested. He exploited citizens seeking certificates and training programs, promising job opportunities. Authorities confiscated certificates, educational books, fee receipts, and the institution’s official seal. The suspect admitted to the criminal activity for monetary profit.
These actions are part of ongoing efforts by the Ministry of Interior to combat fraud and protect citizens from financial exploitation.
