The family of Selim Mohamed Abdelbaset, the missing child from Shubra El-Kheima, has denied reports circulating on social media claiming that his body was found inside a sewer manhole in the Isco area. The family confirmed that these claims are false, and that the child remains missing as searches continue.
In a heartfelt plea, the child’s mother said: “All the news saying they found my son is not true. My son is still missing—please help me bring him back.” She urged residents and authorities to continue helping in the search for her missing son.
At the beginning of the incident, the family suspected that the child may have fallen into a sewer opening, prompting locals to organize widespread search campaigns in the surrounding area.
Security forces in Qalyubia Governorate, in cooperation with rescue teams and local authorities, continue to intensify efforts to locate the child and uncover the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
