The Egyptian Ministry of Interior has revealed the details behind a family dispute in Dakahlia Governorate, after a video circulated on social media showing a woman claiming that her husband’s brother destroyed her apartment and assaulted her and her children due to ongoing family conflicts.
According to the investigation, the incident occurred on September 24, when Sanbalawain Police Station received a report from the suspect’s father, stating that his son had verbally and physically assaulted his brother’s wife following a heated argument.
Police forces quickly intervened and arrested the suspect, who confessed to committing the act, citing anger and emotional tension as the cause of his behavior.
The Ministry confirmed that all legal measures were taken, and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution, where both parties reconciled during the investigation process.
