Authorities have set February 21 as the date for the first court session of actor Mahmoud Hegazy, who is accused of assaulting his wife and causing injuries following a domestic dispute.
According to the case details, security services received a report from the actor’s wife stating that a family disagreement escalated into physical assault inside their residence in 6th of October City, leaving her with multiple injuries.
After the complaint, legal procedures were taken, statements from both parties were recorded, and investigations were carried out before referring the case to the competent authorities.
Earlier, a decision was issued to release the actor on a bail of 10,000 EGP pending the completion of investigations and the trial date.
The court will now examine the full circumstances of the case and the charges brought against the defendant during the upcoming hearings.
