The Court of Appeal upheld the decision rejecting the compensation claim filed by Afaf Shaib against director Mohamed Sami. The Economic Court had previously dismissed the case registered under number 8402 for the year 2024.
The October Appellate Misdemeanor Court clarified in its ruling that Mohamed Sami is acquitted of defamation charges during his media appearance, confirming that the elements of the crime were not met after reviewing all evidence. The court also noted that the case files contained no proof of the alleged act, and the statements in the plaintiff’s petition and her attorney’s testimony do not constitute conclusive evidence.
With this ruling, all legal disputes between the parties are officially closed, confirming that the director bears no responsibility for any defamation claims.
