Four workers died after being electrocuted while performing maintenance work inside a private farm in Al-Marashda village, Al-Waqf district, north of Qena.
Local authorities received a report from the police station, and security forces along with ambulances rushed to the scene.
Investigations revealed that the victims were carrying out electrical maintenance tasks when a short circuit occurred, causing their immediate death.
The bodies were transferred to Al-Waqf Central Hospital, and an official report was filed as prosecutors began inquiries to uncover the cause of the accident.

Another similar incident occurred in Hegaza Qebly village, Qus district, where a 40-year-old man died after suffering an electric shock while working on plumbing inside a house. The body was moved to the hospital, and legal procedures were initiated.

Earlier today, a young man was seriously injured in a collision between a trailer truck and a motorcycle in Al-Shaarani village in Qus. The victim sustained a deep leg wound and head bruises and was transferred to Qus Central Hospital for treatment.
Authorities in Qena continue to investigate these recurring incidents, stressing the need to enhance workplace safety measures and ensure proper electrical installations in private properties and farms.
