The General Administration of Supply and Internal Trade Police within the Economic Security Sector arrested those responsible for operating an unlicensed perfume factory within the jurisdiction of the Al-Ahram Police Department in Giza.
The operators were accused of producing adulterated and counterfeit products for distribution in local markets and allegedly generating illicit profits.
More Than 2,000 Liters of Oils and Alcohol Seized
Following the necessary legal procedures, security authorities seized more than 2,000 liters of perfume oils and alcohol of unknown origin inside the factory.
Authorities also seized 23,000 finished-product containers bearing counterfeit and imitation trademarks.
30,000 Empty Containers and Production Line Seized
The operation also resulted in the seizure of 30,000 empty containers bearing counterfeit trademarks, in addition to a complete production line inside the factory.
The necessary legal procedures were taken in connection with the case, pending further investigation by the competent authorities.
