In one of the most shocking criminal cases in New Cairo, the court has postponed the trial of two defendants accused of murdering a businessman inside a residential compound, in a case that deeply shocked public opinion.

The New Cairo Court adjourned the session to the following day to continue pleadings, amid intense attention due to the severity of the charges and disturbing details.
Investigation findings
Prosecution investigations revealed that the main defendant premeditated the crime, believing the victim had an illicit relationship with his sister, which led him to track the victim’s movements and gather detailed information.
Execution of the crime
The defendant prepared tools including an electric saw and bladed weapons, and later recruited another suspect. They posed as delivery workers to lure the victim into his residence.
The attack
Once the door was opened, both defendants assaulted the victim, and the main accused stabbed him multiple times, resulting in his immediate death.
Attempt to conceal the crime
In an attempt to cover up the incident, the defendant dismembered the body using an electric saw and placed the remains inside a refrigerator before the crime was eventually discovered.
