The Family Court has postponed the hearing of former footballer Ibrahim Said’s appeal against his travel ban, issued due to alimony rulings in favor of his ex-wife, to October 19 for review and response.
In a new development at the Family Court, the appeal filed by former footballer Ibrahim Said against his travel ban was postponed to October 19 for further review and response.
Mohamed Roshwan, Said’s lawyer, stated that his client is awaiting the cancellation of the travel ban, stressing that the reasons behind the order no longer exist. He confirmed that the court is currently reviewing the defense request to lift the ban, which is related to alimony rulings in favor of Said’s ex-wife.
Roshwan also explained that his client was previously released after appealing a four-month prison sentence in one of 39 alimony cases filed against him. He further revealed that a formal complaint has been filed against Said’s ex-wife, accusing her of forgery.
The case is scheduled to resume on October 19, where the court’s decision could determine whether the former player remains restricted from traveling abroad.
