A quiet village in Deshna, Qena, was shaken by a tragic incident after a family inheritance dispute escalated into violence, resulting in the death of a young man and serious injuries to his mother.
Authorities received a report of a shooting involving two victims inside Al-Samata village. Security forces and ambulances rushed to the scene immediately.
Investigations revealed that the suspect, the victim’s uncle, opened fire following intense disputes over inheritance matters, critically injuring both the young man and his mother.
The victims were transported to the hospital for treatment, but the young man later succumbed to his injuries, while his mother remains under medical care.
Police swiftly apprehended the suspect, and legal proceedings are currently underway as investigations continue to uncover further details of the case.
