The Interior Ministry has revealed the facts behind a video circulating on social media in which a woman alleged that her ex-husband and his family stole her gold and filmed her in Beheira.
Investigations confirmed that on September 27, 2025, the Kafr El-Dawar Police Station received a report from a woman residing in Cairo, accusing her ex-husband and his sister of assault, seizing her gold, and filming her due to family disputes.
Following proper legal procedures, the accused were apprehended. They denied the claims, with the ex-husband explaining that he married and divorced the woman after a few days due to disagreements, and that her false allegation was intended to harm him over the family conflict.
