The Ministry of Interior has revealed the circumstances surrounding a video circulated on social media, showing a verbal altercation between several individuals in Beheira, during which insults were exchanged.
Investigations revealed that on the 27th of the current month, Abu Homs Police Station received a report of a brawl involving two parties. The first party included a woman with a bruise, along with her son and grandson, while the second party consisted of two women who sustained bruises and abrasions across their bodies. All individuals reside within the jurisdiction of the police station.
Further inquiries indicated that the incident began as a verbal dispute stemming from disagreements related to family marriage ties, which escalated into physical assault, resulting in the reported injuries.
Security forces were able to apprehend both parties at the time of the incident. Upon questioning, they admitted to the altercation as described due to the aforementioned disputes. Legal procedures were taken, and the public prosecution has taken over the investigation.
