The Egyptian Ministry of Interior has intensified its inspection campaigns to regulate the markets and prevent the exploitation of citizens. As part of these efforts, authorities seized over 14 tons of subsidized flour that were intended to be sold on the black market.

According to the Ministry, the raids targeted bakeries and warehouses that manipulate the distribution of flour allocated for subsidized bread production. The seized quantities were prepared for illegal sale at higher prices to gain unjust profits.

The Ministry stressed that these campaigns are part of its ongoing plan to tighten control over subsidized goods, combat monopolistic practices, and ensure that government support reaches those who deserve it.

Legal measures have been taken against the violators, who were referred to the competent investigative authorities.
