According to El-Eissawy, his client received a phone call from the company's chairman instructing him to go to the cafe complex alongside Ismail Dollar.
He explained that his client worked as the company's operations manager, while Ismail Dollar had reportedly been assigned responsibilities related to improving security at the cafe complex.
Dispute Over the Electricity Panel
According to the defense's account, the two men discovered a lock placed on the complex's main electricity panel.
The defense argued that the panel was connected to the electricity company and should not be controlled by unauthorized individuals.
El-Eissawy said a verbal dispute occurred during an attempt to address the situation, while maintaining that his client was not beside the electricity panel and did not participate in removing the lock.
He added that those present managed to contain the dispute and agreed to sit at one of the cafes in an attempt to resolve their differences.

During the incident, a security force arrived after a report was received alleging that Ismail Dollar and others had bullied cafe tenants.
Security authorities subsequently arrested the defendants and took them to the police station to complete the necessary legal procedures.
