January 12, 2026, Hearing to Retrial Suspect in Alf Maskan Violence Case
The Terrorism Appeals Criminal Court at Badr Courts Complex has scheduled the retrial of a defendant in case No. 24885 of 2013, related to the Alf Maskan violence incidents, for judgment on January 12, 2026.
The session was held under the chairmanship of Judge Hamada El-Sawy, with judges Mohamed Amara, Raafat Zaki, and Ali Amara, and secretary Mohamed El-Saeed.
The prosecution had charged the defendants, including others previously sentenced, with joining an illegal group, displaying force, protesting without a permit, and using force in several areas in Ain Shams.
This step continues the long-standing case, which involved major violent incidents across multiple areas, with the judiciary and security authorities closely following proceedings to ensure timely resolution.
