The Interior Ministry’s security authorities revealed details of a video circulated on social media, in which the person who posted it alleged that a woman had engaged in acts of intimidation and attempted to encroach on an agricultural plot he claimed to own in Menoufia.
Following an examination and security inquiries, authorities found that the incident was linked to a dispute between several parties over ownership of agricultural land within the jurisdiction of the Tala Police Department.
Details of the Complaint
According to the investigation, on July 8, a complaint was filed at the Tala Police Department by the brother of the person who posted the video.
The complainant, who lives within the department’s jurisdiction, said he was seeking action against the woman shown in the video and others, accusing them of assaulting him and attempting to take control of an agricultural plot in the same area.
He stated that the land had passed to him and his relatives through legal inheritance from his father and grandfather. He also alleged that damage had been caused to the property.
Woman Denies Allegations and Files Counter-Complaint
When questioned, the woman, a housewife living in the same area, denied the allegations against her.
She in turn said she had been harmed by the person who posted the video, describing him as unemployed and currently detained pending proceedings in another case.
She accused him and another person of verbally abusing her and entering the disputed agricultural land.
The woman also stated that the land had passed to her through inheritance.

The necessary legal procedures were taken at the time, while the Public Prosecution began investigating the incident to establish the circumstances of the dispute and determine the legal responsibilities of the parties involved.
