The Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of a brawl outside a nightclub in Dar Al-Salam involving festival singer Issam Sasa and several employees, sparked by a dispute over entry inspection.
The Egyptian Ministry of Interior has disclosed new details surrounding the altercation that recently circulated on social media, involving popular festival singer Issam Sasa outside a nightclub in Dar Al-Salam, Cairo.
According to the statement, on October 7, the Dar Al-Salam Police Department received a report of a fight outside the nightclub between two groups — the first consisting of 11 nightclub employees, one of whom was injured, and the second group of five patrons, including Issam Sasa, with one member also sustaining injuries.
Investigations revealed that the incident began after nightclub staff refused entry to the second group without inspection, which led to a heated exchange that quickly escalated into a violent brawl involving knives and wooden sticks.
Security forces managed to arrest all parties involved, seizing the weapons used during the altercation. Upon questioning, the individuals admitted to the events as described.
