The Mokatam prosecution at Zeinhom Court is hearing the statements of denial witnesses in the case of a suspect accused of harassing a female employee while she was on a public bus in the jurisdiction of Mokatam Police Station, Cairo.
The Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of the video clips circulated on social media accounts, showing the suspect allegedly harassing and attempting to steal from the victim while following her onto the bus.
The victim, an employee residing in Suez Governorate, stated that she was verbally harassed by the person in the video as she left her workplace and while riding the bus.
The suspect, a worker residing in Dakahlia Governorate, was identified and confronted, denying any involvement in the incident or prior connection with the victim. The Public Prosecution is conducting its investigation and taking the necessary legal measures.
