Three children were killed and six others injured on Thursday in a pickup truck overturn accident on the Western Desert Road, near the entrance to Al-Atamnah village in Manfalut, Assiut Governorate.
Major General Wael Nassar, Director of Assiut Security, received a report from Manfalut Police Station regarding the incident after the emergency hotline was alerted to the crash.
Police officers and ambulance crews rushed to the scene, where investigations revealed that the pickup truck had overturned at the village entrance.
The victims who lost their lives were identified as:

Hussein Mamdouh Mohamed, 10 years old

Moamen Qassem Mohamed, 7 years old

Asmaa Harby Sayed, 10 years old
Their bodies were transferred to the morgue of Manfalut Central Hospital.

All injured were taken to Manfalut Central Hospital for treatment. An official report was filed, and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution for further investigation.
