Investigations into the case involving the alleged killing of an entire family, widely known as the Narges Family Case in New Cairo, have revealed new details about the events leading up to the discovery of the incident.

The investigation records include testimony from the first victim’s brother, as well as details from the referral order issued against the suspect.

Victim’s Brother Gives Testimony in the Narges Family Case

The first victim’s brother, who is also the husband of one of the female victims, told investigators that he received a phone call informing him that his brother Osama had been involved in a traffic accident and that the suspect was with him.

He said he went to the victim’s residence accompanied by several associates and attempted to contact the female victims, Amal, Helen and Lilian.

However, he discovered that their phones were switched off.

Upon arriving at the location with his companions, he met the first prosecution witness and discovered the victim’s car near the residence.

According to the victim’s brother’s testimony, the vehicle had visible damage, including a broken front windshield and traces of blood.

Trial Date Set in the Narges Family Case

The Fifth Settlement Criminal Court previously scheduled September 12, 2026, for the first hearing in the trial of the suspect accused of killing his friend and other members of his family.

The case is registered as No. 8827 of 2026, Fifth Settlement Felony, and is also recorded as No. 1185 of 2026, New Cairo Major Crimes.

Details of the Referral Order

According to the referral order and investigation records, the suspect is accused of intentionally killing the first victim, Osama Nassif, after allegedly planning the crime.

The investigation alleges that the suspect prepared a licensed firearm and went to the victim’s residence, where he waited for an opportunity to carry out the alleged plan.

According to the referral order, the suspect allegedly persuaded the victim to leave his home and took him to a location away from public view.

The suspect is then accused of firing several shots at the victim, one of which struck his head, followed by another shot. The injuries described in the forensic report allegedly resulted in the victim’s death.

The referral order also includes an allegation that the suspect kidnapped the victim and removed him from the view of his family.

According to the investigation, the suspect allegedly lured him under the pretext of spending time at a café, thereby separating him from his relatives before carrying out the alleged crime.
