Hossam Fares, the lawyer representing the security guard, said his client suffered injuries to his right hand following the incident involving Nasser Maher. The defense plans to seek EGP 3 million in civil compensation from the player and Pyramids FC for the damages allegedly suffered by the security guard.
Request for Forensic Medical Examination
The lawyer also said the defense intends to request that the injured party be referred to forensic medicine for the necessary medical examinations. The examination is expected to determine the nature and extent of the injuries and assess their potential long-term impact.

The case dates back to Case No. 403 of 2023, First Tagamoa Misdemeanor Court. An in-absentia ruling previously sentenced Nasser Maher to six months in prison with labor, along with EGP 1,000 bail to temporarily suspend enforcement. The case concerns allegations that the player assaulted a security guard and caused injuries, according to the case documents.
What Did the Medical Report State?
According to the case documents, prosecutors referred the defendant to trial over the alleged assault under Article 242 of the Egyptian Penal Code. The medical report documented injuries to the complainant and stated that the treatment period would not exceed 20 days.
