On February 26, 2026, the Mansoura Economic Court, Fourth Economic Misdemeanor Circuit, issued its ruling in case No. 6370 of 2025 Economic Misdemeanors Mansoura.

The court sentenced the defendant to a 5,000 EGP fine for one of the charges, ordered him to pay temporary civil compensation of 1,000 EGP, and required him to cover legal expenses and attorney fees.

The court also acquitted him of the remaining charges.

Technical Examination Links Account to Defendant

According to the court documents and technical examination, the account named "M.A" was linked to the defendant and was used to publish an edited part of a personal video belonging to Nehad Abu Elkomsan.

The court found that the publication was intended to harm her reputation, expose her to defamation, and cause serious material and moral damages.

Privacy Violation and Harassment

The court also confirmed that the publication was part of actions aimed at harassing and disturbing the complainant while violating her privacy.

This led to the defendant’s conviction and the issuance of a temporary civil compensation ruling.

Appeals and Final Criminal Judgment

The defendant appealed the ruling under appeal No. 80 of 2026 Economic Misdemeanor Appeals Mansoura.

Nehad Abu Elkomsan also appealed the civil compensation part under appeal No. 81 of 2026.

On May 3, 2026, the court ruled that her appeal was not admissible due to the finality threshold, and rejected the defendant’s appeal procedurally because it was submitted after the legal deadline.

Therefore, the criminal judgment became final regarding the occurrence of the incident, its legal classification, and its attribution to the defendant.
