A sudden fire broke out inside a bakery in Qous, southern Qena, following the explosion of a gas cylinder, causing flames and thick smoke to rise from the site. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the bakery staff.

Security authorities in Qena received an emergency report from the operations room indicating a fire at a local bakery, prompting civil protection units to dispatch a fire engine to the scene. The team swiftly managed to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby homes and shops.

Preliminary investigations revealed that a gas leak from the cylinder was the cause of the explosion, leading to material damage inside the bakery but no loss of life.
