The Cairo Court has decided to postpone the ruling in the lawsuit filed by former Egyptian football star Ibrahim Saeed, who seeks to annul the judicial seizure imposed on his properties, setting October 28 as the date for issuing the final judgment.

Earlier, the Family Court postponed the first hearing of Ibrahim Saeed’s appeal against a travel ban issued due to alimony rulings, scheduling the session for October 19 to review and respond to the case.

Meanwhile, the defense representing Saeed’s ex-wife revealed new developments that could result in the player facing imprisonment. A new lawsuit, numbered 2379 for the year 2025, was filed on behalf of his daughters, demanding overdue alimony totaling 150,000 EGP, after Saeed allegedly failed to pay the monthly support. The court has set October 12 to notify him and order payment or imprisonment.

It was also noted that the Heliopolis Family Court previously dismissed case No. 1789/2025 due to the absence of Saeed’s ex-wife or her legal representative, preventing the continuation of the proceedings.

For months, Saeed and his ex-wife have been engaged in a series of legal battles involving alimony and custody disputes, as each party seeks to assert their legal position before the court.
