A serious car collision in the Fifth Settlement, New Cairo resulted in the death of one person and injuries to a woman and her children, including severe injuries to the latter.

The New Cairo emergency operations center received a report of the accident, prompting a rapid deployment of police forces and ambulances to the scene. The injured were transported to hospitals for treatment, while the deceased was taken to the morgue pending completion of investigations.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the accident occurred due to excessive speed and loss of control by one of the vehicles, resulting in a direct collision, causing multiple injuries to the passengers.

The road was partially closed to clear the wreckage and ensure safety, while a formal report was filed. Authorities are investigating the accident to determine causes, including potential traffic violations or mechanical failures.

Eyewitnesses reported that the collision caused panic among passersby, with police quickly securing the area and ambulances attending to the injured.
