The Ministry of Interior issued an official statement regarding the case that sparked attention on social media about a student who went missing from her home in Aswan.
According to the statement, on February 11, the Edfo Police Station received a report from a resident that his sister, a student, had gone missing due to family disagreements with her father, prompting her to leave her family home.
The statement added that on February 12, the reporter, accompanied by his sister, visited the police station. The girl confirmed she had returned safely without any harm and that she had been in Assiut with one of her friends.
All legal procedures were followed to ensure her safety and monitor the situation.
